Sous Vide Pollo Alla Cacciatora (Hunter’s chicken stew)



For the Drumstick

6 whole drumstick

2 tsp salt

1 tsp black sand pepper

2 tbsp olive oil

For the Hunter Style Sauce

2 tbsp olive oil

2 cloves garlic, slicing

90 g onion, 2 cm dice

120 g mashroom, slicing thick

100 ml white wine

1 tsp thyme

100 g tomato dice, can

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp sugar

1/4 tsp black sand pepper


Chicken leg

Step 1:

Place the chicken legs in a bowl and add the salt, black pepper & olive oil for seasoning 20 mins.

Step 2:

While waiting for the chicken legs seasoning process, we can make sauce for this Pollo Alla Cacciatora.

Heat a pan and put the olive oil in then turn the flame to medium.

then put the garlic slices & chopped onion into it and cook until you can smell it.

at that moment please put the chopped mushroom into it as well and cook them until it’s getting soft.

then add the white wine, parsley, tomato, salt, sugar & black pepper to this pan and cook it until it’s boiled.

Turn the flame off after it’s boiled.

Step 3:

Heat a pan with medium flame and add the olive oil.

then place the seasoned chicken legs on the pan and cook them until they are getting brown color.

Step 4:

Set the PENGFA Cook Helper at 165°F/73.9°C & 3 hours.

Step 5:

Put the chicken legs & sauce into the zipped bag together.

Then place it into the water bath for 3 hours.

Last Step:

After time is up, take the bag from the water bath.

Place the chicken legs and sauce in a bowl.

This delicious dish is ready to serve.
